If you’re selling online, you’ll know that the average store can have up to 1000 items live at any time. Some even update their inventory every week! Many of Japan’s precious ancient artifacts and artworks are in museums and galleries all over the world, as well as being safely in storage, such are their age and fragility. Canon’s Tzuzuri Project has been bringing these beautiful pieces back to life since 2007. The latest is a facsimile of Ogata Kōrin's ‘Waves at Matsushima’, an early 18th century six-panel screen. Canon’s imaging experts in Japan worked with Kyoto artisans to reproduce this glorious work of art, which was then authentically mounted on folding screen frames. https://canon.sm/3w1LYHq
